Too much of a good thing.

Yes this is my third (THIRD!) blog. Yes I am embarrassed. Could one person possibly have this much to say?

Er... well, you know me.

The logic that has gone into creating yet another space, albeit a virtual one, for me to record my thoughts, is as follows:

I need a separate place to talk about the different aspects of my life. And there are many. One of these aforementioned aspects is the fact that I love design. Good design. It is my own belief that good design can transform your life. Change the way you actually live. Maybe even change the way you feel about the way you live. Good design makes life easier, simpler and sometimes just more beautiful.

But don't let me fool you. I am no professional, in fact amateur might be an overstatement. My own personal taste will undoubtedly come into question. However, never being one to completely eschew the trend-du-jour, I am forced to hop on board the designer-come-lately train and carve out a little spot of my own to publicly lust and/or grumble about all things home, fashion, wedding and baby related.

It is also my deepest desire, that in doing so, it will inspire the Geek (aka dearest Hubs), and I, (whom together form the least likely DIYers imaginable), to pick up a paintbrush and hammer and get busy transforming our aging bungalow into a little gem of a home.

Thanks for putting up with me. It means a lot.
